Built in 1833 by Elias Brown, banker and relative of one of the current owners, the House of 1833 is a 19th century Greek revival mansion and national landmark masterpiece on three beautifully wooded and landscaped acres of gardens and fountains.  Always call for last minute availability and specials!

We always include our world-famous full New England country-gourmet candlelight breakfasts and feature a seasonal full size swimming pool surrounded by lush perennial gardens and fountains...dotted with sun cots, chairs, and eight glass tables with big blue market umbrellas. Relax...swim...bask...and enjoy.
This architectural gem is a mere 1.25 miles from Interstate 95 at the beginning of the Mystic River. Featuring five luxurious guest suites, you are so close to all the excitement, nightlife, and activities that the Mystic River and coastal CT offers.
